Fast Track Immigration - Trusted Traveller Programme is a government-led initiative that helps expedite the Immigration clearance for eligible persons from categories – Indian Nationals and Foreign Nationals holding OCI Card.

It is a visionary initiative, launched to provide passengers with a more secure, easier and faster travel experience.

FTI-TTP facility can significantly speed up the immigration clearance for pre-verified travellers, fast-tracking the entire process. This move makes life easier for the departing passengers travelling outside India, adding to their time saved at the airport. It will also help the passengers arriving.

This program is currently available for Indian citizens and OCI cardholders. Foreign travellers will be covered in the second phase.

Trusted Traveller Program Highlights

DIAL is the first airport to introduce the Government of India's 'Fast Track Immigration-Trusted Traveller Programme (FTI-TTP).

This facility is available free of cost for all passengers, increasing the accessibility.

Indian citizens and OCI cardholders are the first to benefit from the program. Later, the program will cover foreign travellers.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicants may ensure a minimum passport validity of at least six months while applying for the Trusted Traveller Program.

The registration will be valid for a maximum of five years or until the validity of the passport, whichever comes first.

Steps to Register with Trusted Traveller Program

Step 1

Apply through the govt. website - www.ftittp.mha.gov.in, & provide the required details.

Step 2

After verification by the Bureau of Immigration, the approved passenger will receive an email or SMS to proceed.

Step 3

Proceed for the biometric enrolment at the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) or a dedicated counter at Delhi Airport.

Note: Proceed with the KYC process.

Step 4

Submit biometric details to complete the registration process.

Step 1 : At FTI-TTP Departure Entry Gates (T3)

1Proceed to the dedicated TTP e-gates installed at the Immigration area.
2Scan your passport and boarding pass at the first e-gate. If verified, proceed to the next e-gate.
3At the next e-gate, your face will be scanned. If verified, your emigration process is complete.

Step 2 : At Pre Security DigiYatra E-Gate

1Walkup to the DigiYatra E-Gate at security check
2Look in the camera on the DigiYatra E-Gate
3After validation the E-Gate will open, proceed towards your Boarding gate

Step 3 : At Boarding Gate

1Once your Flight starts Boarding
2Look in to the Biometric Camera at Boarding Gate
3Post your system validation proceed towards the Aircraft

The service is currently available at Terminal 3 of Delhi Airport.

Delhi Airport is the first to commence the initiative, FTI will also be launched at 7 major Indian airports during phase 1.

21 airports across the country will be benefitted from this program.

Passengers can register through the government website - www.ftittp.mha.gov.in. After login/registering, users will have to submit their documents as a prerequisite.

The Fast-Track Immigration Programme mainly saves time for passengers travelling outside India. It is also applicable for arriving passengers.
