Inaugurated on 1st May 1986, Terminal 2 underwent a transformation in 2017 to enhance its infrastructure and facilities. Efficiently managing up to 70 million passengers annually, Terminal 2 serves domestic airlines. It is strategically positioned close to Terminal 3 and offers easy connectivity through a direct pedestrian walkway.

Delhi Airport provides a complimentary shuttle service between terminals. It offers an effortless commute for flyers and staff from T2 to T1/T3.
Passengers can board the complimentary bus service at T2 near VIP parking for convenient transfer. Follow the signage after the baggage checkpoints to avail of the shuttle. After presenting your boarding pass to the officer in charge at the kiosk, you can get the coupon for the transit bus.

To transit to and from T2, prepaid cabs, OLA, Uber, Meru cabs, WTi cabs, Mega cabs, and Carzonrent are available, among others. Flyers can book cab services via their smartphones or by calling their offices.
Taxis can be booked for commuting between the terminals from the Taxi Counters inside the airport premises. Flyers can catch a taxi from T2 at Domestic and International Arrivals Terminal 2..

For commuting between Terminal 1 and 2, flyers also have the option to use the Metro Feeder Bus Service provided by DMRC (Delhi Metro Rail Corporation). Flyers can board the bus at the T2 VIP Parking Area by paying a minimal fee of INR 40..
A feeder bus arrives every 20 minutes
Delhi Metro connects the New Delhi station to the Airport (T-3) metro station, which is nearest to Terminal 2 via Airport Express or Orange Line. The commute takes approximately 16 minutes.
The first metro runs at 4:45 am, while the last train arrives at 11:30 pm at IGI Airport Metro Station.
A train arrives at an interval of 10 minutes during peak hours and 15 minutes during non-peak hours.
